General Info

  • Demographic information at top, center justified, 12 pt type max. 

  • Do not include a "skills summary".    Useless, subjective, distracting.

  • Do not include an "objective".   Limits your sales career options.

  • Do not summarize your achievements in  one location.  They will be overlooked.

  • List college and graduation date at bottom, not top

  • Eliminate all subjective "opinions" or information

For each employer section:

  • List company & division name above your title

  • Use  generic titles (i.e. Sales Representative, not often confusing business card titles)

  • in a paragraph, list every product you sell and every call point * you call on.  

  • In bullets, list your rankings / awards,  topic/award 1st,  all years achieved next


*    Call point:  a department in a hospital, a physician specialty or type of facility (hospital,
     physician's office, nursing home, etc.)
